Caravans

Northfield Holiday ParkNorthfield Holiday Park is under the new ownership of Mr Andrew Dare since November 2012. For the past 30 years it has had a well-earned reputation for excellent personal service and an extremely high level of cleanliness at all times of the year. It is intended that this continue for the next 30 years.

The caravans vary in size and number of bedrooms from a 25 x 10ft two bedroom to a 36 x 12ft three bedroom. All have shower, WC, full cooker, fridge, colour TV, duvets, electric kettles, toasters and vacuum cleaners, microwaves and full bedding as standard. The larger units also have DVD players. There is also a 35 x 10ft ramped caravan suitable for customers with mobility impairment.

Northfield Holiday ParkThoughtful landscaping and mass planting of hundreds of indigenous flowers, herbs and shrubs, as well as sub-tropical palms and yuccas have made it the prettiest and most colourful park in Ceredigion. Wild flowers grow in harmony with the planted environment and there is an abundance of butterflies and birds. The garden, as well as the ever-increasing variety of wildlife has ensured that every year, between 1999 and 2010, the park achieved the David Bellamy Gold Conservation Award.

In addition, the Visit Wales Board has consistently awarded a 4-Star grading with a 100% mark for cleanliness of caravans and park grounds. At the end of every season, every caravan is overhauled and, if necessary, re-carpeted and re-upholstered. All equipment is checked, and renewed where necessary. Everything possible is done to make your stay comfortable and good value for money. (See Price List)

Northfield Holiday ParkThe park is situated on the hill overlooking Borth. It is within walking distance of the beach and shops, yet is private, quiet and peaceful.
In a sheltered, south-facing corner, there is a small adventure playground with picnic tables for tired parents.

There are bird feeding tables and nest boxes in the shrubberies, attracting a host of small birds and, in recent years, the sight of the red kite flying overhead has become more common.

In the Laundrette, there are books, games, fishing nets, as well as buckets and spades. There is also literature available to enable children to identify the wildlife on the park itself as well as on the seashore and surrounding countryside.
