Due to Covid-19 we have had to make some changes in the way that we operate.
Before arrival if you feel unwell or are displaying symptoms of Coronavirus do not travel, you must stay at home and self-isolate.
If you start to feel unwell or displaying symptoms of Coronavirus whilst you are here, you will need to leave immediately, and self-isolate at your own home, along with anyone who has travelled with you. Your details will be passed on to Track & Trace.
As NHS.UK states the symptoms of Coronavirus are as follows.
A high temperature – this means you feel hot to touch on your chest or back (you do not need to measure your temperature)
A new, continuous cough – this means coughing a lot for more than an hour, or 3 or more coughing episodes in 24 hours (if you usually have a cough, it may be worse than usual)
A loss or change to your sense of smell or taste – this means you've noticed you cannot smell or taste anything, or things smell or taste different to normal
You must stay 2 meters (6 feet) apart from other guests at all times, do not go into each other's accommodation.
We will not be providing bedding of any kind for the foreseeable future in an attempt to reduce any possible spreading of Covid-19.
We will be cleaning all our units with Anti-Viral products, which are effective against Coronavirus.
The Play Area equipment will not be accessible until further notice as in line with the Government Guidelines.
The Launderette will be accessible but only for one family at a time, we ask that this is purely to us the washing machine and tumble dryer should it be absolutely essential. The books/buckets/spades etc are not to be used at this time.
We highly advise that you take out travel insurance in these uncertain times, or book with a credit card as you will be able to be reimbursed should we have to cancel for any reason.
We are aware that there is a risk that another lockdown is possible and should we have to close for this reason, any bookings made with us will be re-allocated a new date.
Finally, we would ask that whilst you are here you are mindful that the locals of Borth & Aberystwyth have also been in lockdown, immediately after a long & quiet winter. You may find that they are abrupt and anxious to have Holiday Makers in the area, possibly causing a strain on our very small health service. They may be upset by your presence, but please don't take it personally, you will be more than welcome by the majority of people.
